Anti-Fog and Non-Mist Coatings

The advantages of a clear plastic product, treated to prevent misting are obvious for many applications involving temperature differences and/or high humidity.

With safety and functionality a priority keeping clear vision at all times is achieved with our coatings.

Our non-mist coatings are hydrophobic, hence repelling water. They are not susceptible to saturation, which makes them safe in extremely adverse environments, involving prolonged exposure to vapour.

They will not soften and wipe off in use, so are long lasting. Initially developed for the safety eye protection market this process is finding new successful applications in the Automotive, Domestic Appliances and Electronics sectors.

OCT Handle the Pressure!

The pressure was on for a manufacturer of tyre inflation tools. Forecourts are unforgiving environments exposed to all weathers. Motorists got hot under the collar when the indicator lenses misted, obscuring the view of the pressure reading.

All was saved by OCT applying a tough thermally cured anti mist coating to the lenses.

Now motorists don't get steamed up and neither do the lenses.
